Larwood & Voce Stand, Trent Bridge: view, shade and what to expect
Larwood & Voce is the compact stand between Acrisure and Hound Road, with a close view from the eastern side of Trent Bridge. It is a general-admission area for the 2027 Ashes. Choose it for an intimate boundary setting and an angled view of the wicket, with bigger stands on either side.

The view
A close boundary perspective
The stand sits around the eastern curve, so your view is across and along the wicket rather than directly behind the bowler. Watch the fielders near the rope, then look across to the opposite boundary to follow the shape of the field. It is an appealing angle for people who like seeing how the batter’s placement works against the field.
Choosing your row
Lower seats bring the nearby action into the foreground; a seat farther back gives you more height over spectators in front. Choose the named block on the club’s map and compare it with the wicket before paying. If an aisle rail or a roof edge matters to your view, ask the Ticket Office about the exact row rather than choosing from the stand name alone.
Public and member bookings
The current Ashes buying guide makes Larwood & Voce general admission, superseding older descriptions that restricted it to members and guests. Members could buy up to four seats per day during their priority window. That is a sales entitlement, separate from the public status of the seating. Use the fixture’s booking map for current available rows and any domestic reservations.
Sun, shelter and access
Covered seating has morning shade, with afternoon sunshine facing this side. Front rows are more exposed than the rear, so bring protection for a long summer day. The club lists wheelchair positions in front of Larwood & Voce. These are designated spaces booked through the Ticket Office; ordinary tiered seats can involve steps. Describe your needs before choosing a regular seat.

Food, drink and toilets
Use the nearby concourse concessions shown in the match guide. Hound Road and Acrisure are your useful bearings when returning to the stand after lunch. Take a moment to locate your row before play begins, especially if several friends arrive separately and you plan to meet at the seats.
For an adapted toilet, ask a steward for the best route towards the listed Hound Road West or Acrisure rear-concourse facilities. RADAR-key assistance is available from stewards and volunteers. Bring your own food in suitable non-glass packaging if you prefer a picnic, and use the refill points around the ground for water.
Bring food and soft drinks in non-glass containers; leave glass and metal cutlery at home. Current ground regulations and the latest matchday guide explain the entry rules.
Who it suits
Larwood & Voce suits cricket watchers who enjoy a smaller seating area and boundary detail. It is a good comparison with the adjacent Acrisure atmosphere and Hound Road height: you keep the eastern-side view in a more compact stand, with the action close enough to follow the fielders between deliveries.
Arrive with enough time to find the return entrance from the concourse. A familiar route makes breaks during a full Test day much easier.
