Radcliffe Road Stand, Trent Bridge: view, shade and what to expect
Radcliffe Road is Trent Bridge’s three-tier choice for watching down the wicket. Choose the lower tier for a closer boundary view, the middle for a balance of height and detail, or the upper for the broadest picture. Public Ashes seats are available in all three tiers; two central middle-tier blocks are reserved for members.

The view
Lower tier
The northern end puts the bowler, batter and wicketkeeper into one line, with the Pavilion beyond the far boundary. Lower seating keeps the players close and makes a boundary fielder part of your foreground. Compare your block with the pitch on the booking map: central and wing seats give different angles. Front-row Ashes merchandise packages are sold separately from ordinary seats.
Middle tier
This is a rewarding compromise if you want to follow bowling spells and still see the field spread out. For the 2027 Ashes, public seating occupies the wings; the two central blocks are member-only. Select the actual block before comparing prices. Public buyers should choose the middle-tier wings.
Upper tier
The upper terrace gives the wide view that helps you spot gaps, boundary riders and changes of field. Public seats are offered here, alongside separately sold outdoor enclosures. Read the enclosure package before booking a group.
Cover and access
The stand gets mixed morning light and faces afternoon sunshine. Rear rows have roof cover, while front seats are more exposed. Passenger lifts serve all floors, including the upper terrace; designated wheelchair spaces are in the lower and middle tiers. Some ordinary seating steps lack handrails. Ask the Ticket Office about your route and any obstruction affecting the chosen row.

Food, drink and toilets
The Club Shop is on the ground floor by reception, useful for a scorecard or a souvenir before settling in. Use the match guide for that day’s food concessions and water points. The Radcliffe Road West bar on level three has a low service counter; Restaurant Six is a separate dining booking, rather than a room included with an ordinary stand ticket.
Accessible toilets are listed on the ground and first floors. A quiet space is beside reception, where sensory bags can also be borrowed. Ask a steward for the suitable route from your tier and for a RADAR key if you need one.
Bring food and soft drinks in non-glass containers; leave glass and metal cutlery at home. Current ground regulations and the latest matchday guide explain the entry rules.
Who it suits
Cricket watchers who enjoy the bowling line will love Radcliffe Road, especially for a full Test day. The three heights let you choose between player detail and the shape of the whole field; the middle and upper terraces reward following a spell over several overs.
Pick the tier before the row, then keep a second block in that tier ready for booking. That makes it easier to keep a group together.
