Pavilion, Trent Bridge: view, shade and what to expect
Trent Bridge’s Pavilion is a Nottinghamshire members’ area, with an eligible County Championship guest-pass route for non-members who already hold ground tickets. For the 2027 Ashes, Pavilion seats are members-only with one seat per membership. Choose that access route first; ordinary public admission elsewhere does not include the Pavilion or its premium rooms.

The view
Padded seating
The southern end looks down the wicket towards Radcliffe Road. Padded terrace seats put you close to the playing area and give you the traditional behind-the-bowler’s-arm view. Green Card domestic seating excludes reserved debenture seats. For the Ashes, the club’s Category 4 offer includes the Pavilion seat and Long Room access, with separate team stairways beside the central seating block.
The Long Room
The Long Room is part of the Pavilion’s member experience: a place to spend an interval without leaving the building’s cricket setting. Domestic entry follows the membership or eligible guest permission, while the Ashes Pavilion ticket has its own inclusion. Ask about both room and seat entitlement for a guest.
Redevelopment and 2027 visits
The September 2026 guide reopened member seating while keeping the building out of use as work continued. Nottinghamshire plans its first full summer in the redeveloped Pavilion for 2027, with refreshed padded seating and new premium spaces. Check the match-day update for rooms and accessible routes. Historic tiles and dressing-room pillars are retained.
Weather and access
The Pavilion gets mixed morning light and afternoon shade under cover. Cover varies around the redeveloped seating, so ask about your booked row if shelter matters. Arrange any step-free route with the Ticket Office using the room and seat names. The club states that the Gold Bar is inaccessible to wheelchairs; choose another suitable premium space with its team if needed.

Food, drink and toilets
Use the refreshments allowed by your membership or named package. Long Room access does not automatically include lunch or a complimentary bar. Discuss dietary needs with the team when booking hospitality.
For 2027, ask the club about the toilet and lift routes within the finished building. The Fielders’ Rest quiet space is in the Ticket Office building beside the Pavilion. Stewards can help with directions and RADAR keys.
Bring food and soft drinks in non-glass containers; leave glass and metal cutlery at home. Current ground regulations and the latest matchday guide explain the entry rules.
Who it suits
County regulars will love the Pavilion’s bowling-line view and member setting, while eligible guests can share that day with a Nottinghamshire supporter. The Long Room keeps the interval centred on cricket.
Write the fixture, room and seating request in the same enquiry. It helps the club confirm the right permission for everyone in your party.
How to get in
Green Card membership includes domestic Pavilion padded seating outside reserved debenture seats and access to members’ facilities. It includes four County Championship passes per season for non-member ticketholders to join a member in those facilities. Ask the Ticket Office about the guest’s precise seat entitlement; the guest still needs ground admission.
For the Ashes, buy Category 4 through your member account: one Pavilion seat per membership. Bronze Card adds a reserved Pavilion seat for Rockets group-stage doubleheaders. Compare the published membership benefits before choosing the season-long route.
