Corrections
If a guide contains an error or an outdated detail, email webmaster@offtothecricket.co.uk with the page and the information that needs checking.
What to include
Send the page address, ground and stand if relevant, and quote the short passage you want us to look at. Explain the correction in your own words. A link to the club’s latest match guide, regulations, accessibility page or transport operator’s notice is particularly useful. Please include the competition and date where the rule applies to a specific fixture.
Photographs can help explain a seat or route, but an old image may show a previous configuration. Include its date and source where you have them. Send your own evidence only with the permission needed to use it, and avoid identifiable visitors or private booking details. We can usually investigate a policy change from the official link without needing a ticket image.
How we check a correction
We compare the detail with the relevant primary source: the county club or ground, its current regulations and access information, the ECB or the transport operator. A ticket category, season and competition can change the answer, so we check that context along with the figure. If official pages disagree, we keep the advice to the facts that can be established and direct readers to the club for the remaining detail.
When a correction changes the guide’s content, we update the advice and its quick answers together. Changes to shared ground rules or seating also feed the planning comparisons, helping the hub and related guides stay consistent. Content-update dates reflect a change to the advice.
Independent visitor advice
Off to the Cricket is operated by Does Your Duck Quack and is independent of the ECB, counties and grounds. A hotel booking link or other commercial relationship does not decide which factual correction we make. Our research approach and affiliate disclosure explain the site’s sources and funding.
For an urgent match-day decision, ask the ground directly about the actual ticket, entrance or access arrangement. Keep your confirmation available and follow the club’s current instructions.
