Vitality Blast 2027 fixtures
The full 2027 Vitality Blast group fixture list is TBC, but men’s Finals Day is confirmed at Edgbaston on Saturday 17 July 2027. Use the announced-match table for published dates and the separate 2026 comparison for context. This page covers the men’s competition; women’s county T20 fixtures have their own landing page and should be checked alongside any advertised double header.
2027 fixture publication
No full 2027 group-stage list was located in the official sources checked for this update. Recent Blast fixtures have appeared in November: Kent’s official release notice gives 25 November 2025 for the men’s and women’s 2026 programmes. That is historical evidence of the release period, not an announcement of the next publication day.
Watch the ECB and your home county’s fixture pages, then check the match-specific ticket listing. The same county may sell a season pass before individual opponents and dates are available. Choose your diary date from a published fixture rather than inferring it from a Friday pattern, a membership brochure or last season’s calendar.

Group stage and quarter-finals
The ECB’s announced men’s format from 2026 onwards uses three groups of six counties and 12 group games per county. Ten are home-and-away matches against the other clubs in the group, with two additional matches against clubs from outside the group. The two leading counties from each group and the best two third-placed teams qualify for the quarter-finals.
The four quarter-final winners reach Finals Day. When the 2027 programme arrives, read the published group allocations and knockout dates alongside it. The competition’s general structure does not tell you which crossover opponent will visit your ground, which team will host a quarter-final or how the table will look late in the group stage.
2026 pattern: Friday nights and double headers
The 2026 Blast programme opened over the late-May bank-holiday weekend and ended its group stage over 10–12 July. The men’s quarter-finals followed on 15 July, with Finals Day on 18 July. The ECB said 80 per cent of men’s group fixtures were placed on Fridays, Sundays or bank holidays. This is the 2026 pattern, not a set of projected 2027 dates.
Friday-night cricket can work well after work, but check the actual start time against your journey and the gate opening. A ticket described as a double header may offer the chance to see women’s and men’s cricket on the same day; read the listing to establish what admission includes. check rather than assume two separate fixture entries automatically mean two tickets are required.
2027 Finals Day at Edgbaston
Edgbaston has confirmed Saturday 17 July 2027 for men’s Finals Day. Its official ticket listing gives an 11:00 start. The event brings together two semi-finals and the final, so plan it as a long day rather than an ordinary single T20. The /grounds/edgbaston/blast-finals-day-2027/ guide covers tickets, seats, rules and the journey home.
If you want to watch only your own county at Finals Day, separate that preference from an event ticket bought before the semi-finalists are known. Check the official sale terms and any later allocation to qualifying counties. Accommodation and transport decisions should reflect your willingness to attend even if your team does not qualify.
Pick the match that suits your group
T20 is a shorter format than Championship cricket, but your whole visit still includes arriving, security checks, finding seats and leaving with the crowd. For children, agree a departure plan and a meeting point before entering. For someone who needs a quieter area or an alcohol-free section, use the stand guide and the home club’s published seating categories rather than relying on a general description of the atmosphere.
An end-on view helps you follow the bowler’s line, while side-on seating gives a different view of the field. The ground hubs link the individual stand guides and sun-and-shade advice where available. Check cover by block and row on the official seating plan: the stand name alone does not always explain how much shelter your particular seat provides.
Buying tickets and travelling home
Use the home county’s official ticket shop for group games and follow its published sales phases. Compare a Blast pass with the games you can genuinely attend, including the conditions on reserved seating and guest tickets. Prices, concession ages and refund arrangements can differ between counties, so there is no single national ticket rule to apply to every fixture.
Before paying for travel, open the relevant /grounds/ hub and check the station, ground entrance and last practical return connection. A match start time is not a guaranteed finish time. Leave room for interruptions and the walk out after play, particularly for an evening fixture where missing one connection could change the whole journey.
