Seat Unique Falcons Stand, Derby: view, shade and what to expect
Seat Unique Falcons Stand follows the southern and south-western City End side of Derby’s cricket ground, near the Pavilion and Boundary Bar. Its open outdoor rows include designated accessible viewing along the front, with Changing Places behind the stand. Buy the actual public match admission and arrange a wheelchair bay separately if you need one.

The view
The City End view
The southern position gives an angled end perspective across the wicket, roughly north-north-east to south-south-west. Higher rows help with field changes, while lower places bring the near boundary closer. Check the offered row and railings. The club’s thousand-seat announcement describes this stand, not whole-ground capacity.
Front accessible viewing
Derbyshire’s access guide identifies viewing bays along the front of Falcons Stand. These are designated places to arrange with the ticket team, especially at T20, rather than ordinary front seats to select independently. Explain equipment, companion and parking needs together. The approach to these bays should remain clear even when other spectators bring chairs on eligible county days.
Open-air shelter
Morning brings sunshine and the afternoon a mix of light and shade, with front places more exposed. There is no overhead roof here. Pack a hat and waterproof layer for a full Championship day, and compare the covered Monarch Security option if rain shelter is central to your choice. Exact restricted rows are TBC until checked against the offered seat.
Neighbouring seating
The Pavilion and Boundary Bar are nearby on the City End side, with the covered stand towards the west and Grandstand/Elite Performance Centre side across the ground. Reserved family seating belongs to the OurCoop area near the Media Centre; additional alcohol-free seating is described between Media Centre and Marquee. Those ticket areas are not separate permanent-building guides.

Food, drink and toilets
The current county guide permits food and refreshments, with format-specific outside alcohol limits. T20 prohibits own alcohol, ordinary chairs and picnic blankets. Use Derby’s packing rules before bringing containers or equipment. Club-managed sales are cashless, and refill points are identified at the Pavilion, Elite Performance Centre and Boundary Bar.
Changing Places is behind Falcons Stand, with a key from Pavilion Reception. Accessible toilets are distributed around the ground.
Who it suits
Falcons suits public spectators who enjoy outdoor cricket from the City End and visitors comparing a low boundary view with a higher row. Its designated front bays make it a useful first enquiry for accessible seating. Practical tip: arrange the bay and companion ticket before selecting places for the rest of your group.
Tickets
The published 2026 Championship advance rate was £17 for adults, free for juniors up to fifteen and £5 for students/ages sixteen to twenty-four. Free entry after tea applied that season. Individual 2027 Falcons tariffs are TBC. Prices depend on the seat category shown when you book.
For regular county visits, 2027 Club Membership is £239 and covers Championship and One-Day Cup but excludes Blast. A separate Super Early Bird Blast Pass is £89. Choose the actual fixture category, including reserved family seating where needed, rather than expecting a public Falcons place to provide Members Lounge entry.
