Shane Warne Stand, Southampton: view, shade and what to expect
The Shane Warne Stand runs along the southwestern side of the Utilita Bowl, between the Rod Bransgrove Pavilion and the Hilton End. Its side-on seats give you a broad view across the wicket, with the Shane Warne Suite and executive boxes offering separately booked hospitality above the public seating.

The view
This angle lets you watch the batter’s movement across the crease and see fielders spread across both sides of the square. A higher row helps you follow the whole field; seats nearer the boundary put the nearest fielders closer.
Choosing cover and access
Rear rows have cover, while front rows are more exposed. The stand gets morning sunshine, and its covered seats are shaded after lunch. The club warns that most stadium seats are uncovered. The berm gives a level route around the bowl; ordinary seating and some pitch-level areas involve steps. Arrange a named accessible viewing position with Hampshire.
Shane Warne Suite
The suite is a separate hospitality purchase, reached through the West Gate. Hampshire’s hospitality guide identifies it within this stand. Match-specific packages set out the meals, drinks and viewing seats included.
Executive boxes
The stand also contains private boxes. The official hospitality visitor guide directs Shane Warne Stand Boxes 1–5 through the West Gate. Use the entrance printed on your own booking.

Food, drink and toilets
The Utilita Bowl Store is underneath this stand, inside the West Gate. Free water fountains are at both ends of the stand, and accessible toilets are also provided at both ends. Some matchdays use RADAR-key access; an information steward can help if you do not have a key.
The public Arlott Atrium in the Pavilion provides another place to buy refreshments. The selection around the bowl changes by competition, with more concessions for Blast, internationals and The Hundred. The venue is cashless, so bring a payment card.
Who it suits
Shane Warne suits visitors who enjoy a side-on view and want to settle into a full county afternoon. Covered rear seats are particularly useful for watching through the day, while the morning light gives the stand a different feel before lunch. Choose the row for cover first, then compare its position against the square.
Tickets for this stand
For ordinary domestic matches, seating is unallocated except Ticket Plus and hospitality. Buy Hampshire admission and use the public areas opened for that fixture. For internationals and The Hundred, select an allocated block and row. International member priority, ballot and general-sale routes are explained on the hub; an ordinary membership card does not admit you to The Hundred.
Published 2027 stand-specific prices are TBC. Check Hampshire’s official ticket site for the selected match, seat and category. Prices depend on the seat category shown when you book. Last checked: October 2026.
