Colin Atkinson Pavilion, Taunton: view, shade and what to expect
Colin Atkinson Pavilion sits at the north-eastern end of the County Ground, Taunton. Lower seating is for Somerset members on Championship and One-Day Cup group days and is publicly sold in Category A for Blast. The Long Room has a separate premium membership and guest route: buying an outdoor seat does not include the room or its facilities.

The view
Lower seating
Somerset describes the lower seats as an angled long-on or fine-leg view, with the church an identifiable landmark. Choose the actual block and row on the map; a public Blast booking and county membership provide different admission arrangements.
The Long Room
The Long Room is a premium facility within Colin Atkinson Pavilion. It offers a shaded first-floor balcony and indoor panoramic viewing. Use Somerset’s premium membership and guest route; vouchers, dates and charges belong to that product. Do not treat a county ground-admission ticket as a room pass.
County Room and access
The County Room is another named facility, with dining sold through official hospitality for selected cricket days. Arrange any lift and accessible viewing needs for the actual room and seat. Somerset lists lifts within buildings and hearing loops for meetings and events in the County Room and Long Room; ask about the intended matchday use.

Food, drink and toilets
Premium dining is described in the named package rather than included with every lower-tier ticket. Public spectators use the matchday concessions; the club’s seating guide places Salt & Malt near this end. Baby-changing facilities are listed in Colin Atkinson Pavilion. Ask staff for the nearest suitable toilet or changing route from your seat.
Own food is allowed; glass and sharp objects are prohibited. Check the full format-specific packing rules. The venue is cashless.
Who it suits
Colin Atkinson suits members on county days and public Blast visitors who prefer an intimate angled view. It also suits people organising a premium-room visit through the proper route. Practical tip: give Somerset both the outdoor seating category and the room name when booking a combined day.
