How and when tickets are released

General sale began on 14 October 2026. Nottinghamshire reports very limited Ashes availability, with better availability on day five and limited premium or members’ seating on selected earlier days. Its announcement gives conflicting descriptions of day-four general admission, so check the live day-by-day listing before booking.

Ticket status checked: 19 October 2026

Official current ticket information

Use Nottinghamshire’s official ticket site for seats, deadlines and current availability. Pay within your allocation’s window. Buy the ticket before committing to accommodation.

Day five tickets are £40 for adults and £10 for under-16s.

Day five is a separate booking and the match may finish earlier; read that day’s terms before paying. Compare the concession conditions, any booking fee and the precise category. A premium package can cost more than an ordinary public seat, so compare what is included rather than just the headline price.

Buy through the club’s official ticket store. Its 2026 international guide directs sellers to return unwanted tickets through their account and buyers to the same official site for returned seats. The 2027 resale terms are TBC. The Trent Bridge Tickets app releases ticket QR codes twenty-four hours before the event; a booking-confirmation attachment is not necessarily the admission ticket. Download the actual ticket before travelling.

Which stand to choose for this match

Start with the kind of day your group wants. Bridgford Road: alcohol-free family blocks. For atmosphere, compare Acrisure, formerly Fox Road: a lively crowd. Roof cover and the direction of the seats both matter: a covered row can still catch low sunlight. Check the actual tier, block and row before buying, especially if shade is important for children or a full day outside.

Acrisure Stand

Acrisure runs along the eastern side, giving a side-on view across the wicket. Rear roofed rows provide overhead shelter. The covered seats are in the shade in the morning, and the stand catches the sun after lunch. Friends who like a sociable cricket crowd and a strong side-on view will enjoy Acrisure.

Bridgford Road Stand

Bridgford Road follows the southwest curve, with an angled side-on view and the Pavilion nearby. Covered seating is limited. It gets the morning sun and a mix of sun and shade after lunch. Families who want an alcohol-free seating block will love having a clear starting point here.

Hound Road Stand

Hound Road is on the southern side, looking towards Radcliffe Road from an angled end-on position. Rear rows have cover in Hound Road. The covered seats are in the shade in the morning, with a mix of sun and shade after lunch. Hound Road suits people who like following bowling spells and watching the whole field from the southern end.

Larwood & Voce Stand

The stand sits around the eastern curve, so your view is across and along the wicket rather than directly behind the bowler. The rear rows are covered, while front rows are more exposed. The covered seats are in the shade in the morning, and the stand catches the sun after lunch. Larwood & Voce suits cricket watchers who enjoy a smaller seating area and boundary detail.

Pavilion

The Pavilion is at the southern end, looking down the wicket towards Radcliffe Road. Cover varies around the redeveloped Pavilion seating. It gets a mix of sun and shade in the morning, and the covered seats are in the shade after lunch. County regulars will love the Pavilion’s bowling-line view and member setting, while eligible guests can share that day with a Nottinghamshire supporter.

Radcliffe Road Stand

Radcliffe Road is at the northern end, looking along the wicket towards the Pavilion. Rear rows have roof cover; front seats are more exposed. It gets a mix of sun and shade in the morning and catches the sun after lunch. Cricket watchers who enjoy the bowling line will love Radcliffe Road, especially for a full Test day.

William Clarke Stand

William Clarke occupies the northwestern corner, looking across the field towards the Pavilion. The rear rows have cover, while front rows are more exposed. It gets the morning sun, and the covered seats are in the shade after lunch. William Clarke suits visitors who want a sociable interval base and a useful range of public ticket prices.

Day by day: what to expect

Day 1 is for the opening spell and the start of the contest. With the occasion of an Ashes morning comes a busy arrival period: give your journey some breathing room and find your seat before play. Arrange a meeting point outside if your group arrives separately; a ticket gate is an awkward place to organise everyone’s plans.

Days 2 and 3 let you follow the developing match. Pack permitted food, a refillable bottle, sun protection and a waterproof. Use lunch and tea for a walk, and return to your row between overs so you do not interrupt someone following the ball.

Day 4 can bring a deciding session. Trent Bridge publishes a cheaper day-four tariff; other grounds differ. Compare the daily table, and keep plans flexible because the match can finish early.

Day 5 is the lowest published standard daily tariff at Lord’s, Edgbaston and Trent Bridge. The Oval’s tariff is TBC. It can be a useful way to experience a Test on a smaller ticket budget, provided you are comfortable with the possibility of an early finish. Check the release route for that day and keep travel bookings separate from the admission refund terms.

If rain interrupts play, stay with the ground’s announcements. A reduced day may continue after the originally expected interval or close, so avoid treating the planned timetable as a fixed departure time. Refund eligibility depends on the number of overs, the day and the ticket terms; some final-day conditions differ from the earlier days. Hotel and train costs are separate from a match-ticket refund. Read the rain and refund comparison before paying, and retain the confirmation for the correct claim route.

Getting there on a sell-out day

Plan the journey to your gate, including the final walk and the crowd after play. Check transport services and save your digital ticket before leaving home.

Nottingham station is the straightforward rail arrival: the club gives a walk of around twenty minutes to the ground. Leave towards the south side and follow the pedestrian route towards London Road and Trent Bridge, then cross the River Trent into West Bridgford. The river crossing is part of the day’s pleasure, with football grounds nearby and the cricket floodlights ahead. Allow extra time for your ticket’s gate and the entrance search.

National Rail’s Nottingham station page covers assistance, facilities and train connections. Check engineering work before the journey, then leave breathing room after play for the walk back and the station crowd. For the women’s evening IT20, look up the last suitable train before committing to a same-night return. A room near the station is useful if the evening connections are tight.

If you need step-free travel, an accessible seat, companion admission or a drop-off arrangement, settle those details with the ground before buying the rest of the trip. The nearest station and the most suitable accessible route are not always the same choice. Read the ground’s accessibility guide for the published contacts and routes.

Getting home

The September 2026 Championship guide gives a 17:30 finish, with a possible 30-minute extension. Play can finish early or run late. Use Nottingham station for London, Derby and other regional routes; the club describes the walk from the ground as about 20 minutes. The taxi rank beside the large West Bridgford Co-op is about 200 yards from the ground on Bridgford Road. The council lists its operating hours as 18:00–07:30, so pre-book a licensed car for an earlier departure. Check your last train in the National Rail journey planner and allow time to leave the ground.

Where to stay and when to book

Buy the match ticket before committing to a room. Compare cancellation terms, especially for later days. A nearby hotel helps with early arrival; a central base may suit your evening plans. Check the route back after play.

West Bridgford is the first area to compare if you want to walk home after play. Choose a small hotel, guesthouse or apartment with a clear route to your gate. Staying on the cricket side of the river makes an early arrival easier over several Test days and puts the neighbourhood’s evening food options close at hand. Check the actual walking distance from the property.
