Graeme Hick Pavilion, Worcester: view, shade and what to expect

Graeme Hick Pavilion is the western member building at New Road, with a published guest route for Championship and One-Day Cup cricket. Club and Premium members can sign in two visitors who each hold a valid ground ticket; that guest route does not extend to Blast. The Pavilion is near the New Road-side viewing and Ladies Pavilion, giving a traditional room-and-cricket visit.

The view

Tom Graveney Lounge

The Tom Graveney Lounge is a named member facility inside Graeme Hick Pavilion. Its admission belongs to the membership or guest entitlement rather than ordinary ground entry. The club’s access page lists step-free access and lifts for the Pavilion, but the complete route to your chosen outdoor viewing still needs arranging.

Outdoor viewing

The western position brings morning sunshine, with covered places shaded after lunch. A place farther beneath the roof provides a different experience from an exposed front place. Row-by-row restricted views are TBC, so ask the club about your place before committing a group to one area.

Neighbouring seating

The New Road-side stand and boxes are towards the north, while the Ladies Pavilion and Family Stand side continue southwards. The BEARD Terrace is a separate hospitality offer; its lounge, food and private terrace are not included simply because you have entered Graeme Hick Pavilion.

Food, drink and toilets

From Graeme Hick Pavilion, choose the concessions and room facilities included in your ticket. New Road is cashless. For the Graeme Hick Pavilion at Worcester, the county guide identifies the Severn Suite bar, Scoreboard Plaza and WODR Bar & Café; the Ladies Pavilion serves homemade cakes on the first three Championship days and every One-Day Cup fixture. Ask a steward for the nearest suitable toilet from your actual row.

For Graeme Hick Pavilion, food and soft drinks in a small bag are permitted at the stated county formats. Glass and sharp objects are prohibited; outside alcohol has format restrictions. Read Worcester’s rules before packing.

Who it suits

Graeme Hick suits regular Worcestershire followers and eligible guests who want county cricket with the member-room tradition close at hand. It is also worth considering when arranging a lift-served building visit. Practical tip: organise the member, guest ticket and named viewing place together before the match.

How to get in

Worcestershire’s 2027 Club Membership covers Championship and One-Day Cup group games; Premium also includes home Blast group matches. Their early-bird prices are £240 and £275 before 1 February 2027, rising to £285 and £355. A member can sign two guests with valid admission tickets into the Pavilion on Championship and One-Day Cup days. Membership guest vouchers and the room sign-in are separate benefits.

A 2027 Blast Season Pass includes member-area access for its home group matches, but the published county guest route does not extend to Blast. Individual Pavilion public-ticket routes outside those stated entitlements are TBC. Prices depend on the seat category shown when you book.
